The Ultimate Ricky Whittle Experience

What happens when there is a private event with Ricky Whittle and his bromance cohort Richard Rankin you go and have the best time ever. The good people at IDDS (I Don’t Do Subtle!) Management, and Lanie Labens hosted a very private and exclusive event to hang out with these hunks at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland and it was everything and then some.

The event was small and intimate and only had 15 people. The guys, Ricky and Richard were inside when we met, and greeted one and all, like a long lost friend with a hug and a warm embrace. I wouldn’t have expected less I mean this was the ultimate Whittle Experience. And I think Ricky rubbed off on Richard, cause Mr. Rankin was as open and charming as ever, The Whittle Effect is everywhere.

We had a blast with the guys, we went on rides with them, walked around the park and got to make thee most amazing memories. It was video and selfies galore, and honestly one of the best experiences of my life. I mean how often could you say you rode on It’s a Small World with Ricky Whittle by your side? And listened to him sing in a Jamaican accent and telling us how much he wants to be Sebastian in the live action version of The Little Mermaid (can you say #TheWhittleMermaid)? Or watching Richard Rankin walk around and take the most amazing photos (here’s hoping some make it into his first photo gallery opening) of kids being kids at the happiest place on earth; all whilst wearing purple Mickey ears.

We went on endless rides and were the envy of many people who saw us all walking around and hanging out with THE HOTTEST men on the planet. And it was all about us. Ricky did stop and take pics with a few of the fans who asked nicely. But for the most part because our group was so small and intimate no one seemed to want to intrude.

We ended the day with a lovely lunch and got to chat with the guys about anything and everything. We got more photos and selfies, and made memories that will easily last a lifetime.

Thank you so much Lanie for putting this event together. I cannot wait for the next one, I mean count me in for sure. Thank you to Ricky and Richard of course for being such great sports for going to Disneyland with some crazy but, mostly harmless fangirls and fanboys. Till the next time.
